Prayer of Peace
Prayer of Peace
Father, we thank you that in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11).
We thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of grace and obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16), because Jesus broke down the middle wall of partition between us, for He is our peace who has broken down every wall (Ephesians 2:14). Therefore, we can come before You in Jesus’ name, claiming the peace that belongs to us.
We pray and confess that great is the peace of our children, they they are taught of the Lord (Isaiah 54:13). Because we are taught of You, You shall keep us in perfect peace, because our mind shall be stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3).
We shall not fret of have anxiety about anything, nor shall our children, because in every circumstance and in everything, we shall by prayer and supplications make our requests known unto God with thanksgiving, and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6,7).
For the Lord is our light and our salvation, and we shall not fear or dread because you are the strength of our life; we shall not be afraid (Psalms 27:1).
We confess that because we will teach ourselves to love Your law, great shall be our peace (Psalms 119:165). We do let the peace of God rule in our hearts and in our children, and we are thankful (Colossians 3:15).
Amen, So be it.
