The Accomplished Woman – #06

Proverbs 31:1 Who can find an accomplished woman? For her price (value) is far above rubies.

We just discovered that rubies are stones of great value. Rubies also represent wisdom.

Prov. 3:15 She (wisdom) is more precious than rubies: and all the things you could  desire are not to be compared to her.

Prov. 8:11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

So we can see that an accomplished woman is not only valuable, but she is also designed as a source of wisdom. There is wisdom in a woman that a man needs. This was established early in the narrative of the Bible.

Genesis 2:22 (AMP)
22 And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

This is such an interesting scripture. First of all we see that the word “rib” is from a root word in Hebrew meaning “for advice.” Also the word “made” in this verse is the Hebrew word “binah”, which can be defined as wisdom.  Now listen to this. This word can also be defined as the “ability to read between the lines!”

I’m sure you’ve heard the term “women’s intuition.” That’s not only a traditional idea but it actually finds its origin in the Bible. Every woman has the potential to be a unique source of wisdom, but the key fact is this: Wisdom doesn’t automatically happen. Wisdom must be developed.

God has given woman to man to be an advisor. She has an ability, when developed, to see things from a unique perspective. Women can see things in detail that men miss. They have this ability to “read between the lines.”

The great key for a woman to develop this gift to the fullest is having a real, living, ongoing relationship with God. This puts her in a place that the Holy Spirit can work with her to develop her ability to see to the highest level. The “Accomplished Woman” has made that choice. That is exactly why her value is far above rubies. What a gal!
