1 Peter 3:7 (NLT) In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together…
We have established that acts of honor in your marriage will take you to higher levels of life. God’s will for our marriage is not to be lived like the world, but on a higher level.
The scripture tells us that men should treat wives with understanding. Men and women think very differently. Women need much more detail than men.
Action
Men, lay down your man pride. Sit down with your wife and just ask if anything is bothering her… “Can I do something more to help you out?…etc. Don’t get impatient. Just listen to what is going on with her. She needs your heart and she needs to know that you care. Be prepared. She may start crying as she vents to you. That’s a good thing.
