Casting Vision for the Mission

Submission means to come under a mission.

Healthy, thriving churches and businesses have a defined purpose or goal. Vision is cast and brainstorming ideas are made by key members of the team, planning how to reach the goal.

Husbands, your wives will be able to submit well when you are leading them in a God-given mission.

Remember, God gave woman as a gift, to bring wise counsel and “see” the enemy. Learning to lay down pride and really listen will bring important perspective and added clarity.

This is a partnership, and when each can remember they are on the same team, you’ll rise to new levels as a couple.

Habakkuk 2:2 Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.

Action

Have an honest and open conversation. Ask each other these questions:

• What is God calling you to as a couple?
• What are your goals in your marriage?
• What is important to you in raising your kids?
• WRITE IT DOWN! RUN WITH IT!
