Malachi 4:5 (NKJV) Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
Malachi 4:6 (NKJV) And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
As we’ve established in previous emails, before the Lord’s return and the rapture of the church, there will be a move of the Spirit among men. It begins with the “hearts of the fathers turning to the children.” I believe this is speaking of a restoration of families, led by humble men who love Jesus and their kids. What will this look like? I’m unsure, but it starts with fathers turning their hearts to their children.
Action
I am an older father now. I have 2 married children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. My greatest desire and challenge is to leave a legacy to them. I’m not talking about a legacy of money and fame. I’m talking about a legacy of faith. The greatest thing I can give them is my story of over 50 years of living for Jesus. The good and the bad. My victories and my losses. I don’t know your story as a man in your family. But your family needs to hear it. If it’s not good, change it. Your family needs your legacy.
