Ken is considered one of America’s foremost authorities on children’s, music, and family ministry. His experience as a leader in a church of 10,000 members has helped him gain a wealth of knowledge that he would love to share with you.

Ken’s first experience in the ministry was in the area of children’s ministry. Ken worked alongside Willie George in the creation of The Gospel Bill Show. Ken wrote songs, produced kids’ music, and became Gospel Bill’s sidekick, Nicodemus, on the popular kids’ Christian television program. The ministry exploded on the scene in the fall of 1982 and became the largest children’s ministry in the world. Through seminars conducted around the world, Ken was able to train thousands of church workers to succeed in children’s ministry.

Ken’s second phase of ministry was at Church On The Move, founded by Pastor Willie George in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The church was born with a vision to reach the entire family with the relevant gospel message, with an emphasis on the power of God and Gifts of the Spirit in manifestation. Ken headed up the development of the music ministry, overseeing the adult and youth music ministries with a strong influence over the children’s music as well. Under his leadership, the music ministry of COTM set a standard of excellence for churches around the country. Ken established himself as a dynamic songwriter, penning many praise and worship songs, and hosting an annual, national music conference called Crescendo.

Ken now heads up Ken Blount Ministries in Tulsa, Oklahoma. God has called him to help families connect with God for life. Ken and his wife, Trudi, travel extensively teaching on marriage and family. Their powerful ministry also reaches into the homes of hundreds of families each month through their CD magazine, Relative.

Josh has been involved in local-church ministry full time since he was 18 years old. Straight out of high school Josh began working at Oneighty, the largest youth ministry in America. He began as a graphic designer before being promoted to a Oneighty department head, leading it’s graphic design team.

Josh was involved in brainstorming with some of the great leaders at Oneighty about event planning, leadership training, and the day-to-day goings on of a youth ministry.

Later Josh became Oneighty’s Associate Youth Pastor. There he led the message-development team, which consisted of researching message ideas and writing message concepts, dramas, sermon illustrations and video concepts for weekly services. He was over all promotions, writing and art direction for Oneighty, including the art direction and conception of its website.

Re-inventing the Oneighty discipleship program, Josh led the altar counseling programs and spoke at the Wednesday night services on a regular basis.

Josh is now the media director for Ken Blount ministries, designing product, producing the monthly CD club, Relative, and overseeing the look and advertising voice of the ministry. Josh also does design work for churches and ministries around the world including: Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, and Hillsong United.

Josh has been on the inside of one of the greatest moves in youth ministry to date and has gained a wealth of wisdom in just about every area a thriving ministry operates in.
